Web Standards
The Three Peaks Plumbing web page is built according to the most recent XHTML-Transitional
standards set out by W3C. To manage the style and design of my site we have implemented CSS 2.1
and CSS 3.0. The site is continually being updated and maintained as to comply with the
most recent standards.
Usability and Accessibility
In order to make the user experience of the site as simple and easy as possible we have
implemented the following attributes throughout the site.
- Every page contains a header, navigation, content, and footer
- The layout and navigation is consitent on each page
- Pictures are kept under 40kb in order to provide quick loading times
- Each page can be identified by clear headings and titles
- Content can be viewed on any internet browser
Search Engine Optimization
All titles and headers are clearly defined. Alternative text is provided for all links,
buttons, and images. A title has been given to each webpage that includes the url for the site
Return on Investment
Through implementing each of the discussed topics into the Three Peaks Plumbing website, the
company will better understand the needs of its website users, and know what the want so the website
can appropriately adjust.The company website will be awork in progress and will be updated regularly.
Through regular updates the website will become more user friendly and accessible to customers.
